Handrails is not a product SWM has always made. In fact, it didn’t come up as a product until the founder Ben Steffensmeier and his wife (now owner), Jenny Steffensmeier decided to add onto their deck. The team went to work and made a strong, beautiful railing customized to their leaders needs.

Since then, Steffensmeier Welding & Manufacturing has done a variety of residential, industrial and commercial railings.
